Borro Soñador by Fernando Vallejo

El Borro Soñador explores the inspiring journey of teacher Carmen Albana Sanz, who grew up in the vulnerable Montevideo neighbourhood called “El Borro,” and despite the odds became an outstanding educator in Catalonia. Through her story and the lives of several families from her childhood community, including children facing serious challenges, the film shows how individuals can aspire, persevere, and transform their lives even when resources are scarce.
